good 30s & 40s water, occassional 50.Fished the place for 6 years but have now moved on.Swims:-As you drive in there are a couple of willow on your right. This is a deep water corner.there is a sunken VW beatle here, great feature..1 rod just off willows in 4 to 5 feet, pretty good.1 near the VW also good.Far end of lake. The Bunkers. Can be excellent. On my last visit I fished small swim next to bunkers and took three nice 40s including 46 common. In front of next swim round on the road bank there is a 10 hole.very hard to find but very productive.Saw 2 x 50s come out of that. The big bay.north east end of lake can produce loads of fish if u can get on it.The point is also good as gives a lot of water in front of you.Bait heavily, lots of particles and pellet.I use giant maize, maggots,Nash tangy peach,or tigers.suggest u take some of each as the fish are very choosy.1 week it is maize next week boilies etc.The lake can get very weedy so a row boat is essential.Need more info.Email me. |
