hi there its never nice blanking as we all konwso some thing you could try is sweetcorn and you might want to go abit smaller on the hook front try using a size 10 longshank with fake sinking sweetcorn but have the hair come off the bend of the hook you could also try a longer hair on the rigs you have now as the carp might be picking up your bait then getting rid as the feel there is somthing wrong with the bait also like ryan7 sed use a running lead set up with slack lines so your bobin is on the floor hope this help in getting you some fish bud..
Hi im going for a 24h on broadlands lake on the 30th of april and would like to know what pegs are the best and whats the best bait to use. If you can help i would be grateful
chick peas a ment to be a good bait i think your be on a winner as your going to use them on a water that most people use boilie this should catch the carp off gard. You could also add other small bait like corn (bird seed thats been prepared in the rigth way)also you could try adding all sorts of lentils to your chick pea mix too then you would be doing somthing different as i dont see any use lentils hope that help you . look round the shops at the tined peas and add any of them what have you got to lose just go wild
thanks bud ill try to make a bigger area next time as im making the area about as big as a dinner table lol that migth b what im doing wrong ill let you konw how i get on
theres is nothing wrong with having more than one bud. mine would be banana tuttis then squid and octopus. i would say always have more than one fav as then you feel its going to get you a fish..but if you stick something on that you dont like then its not going to feel right when its out in the water well i do any way
clattercote is not hard but its just a bit tricky finding the carp but ive only blanked once and ive bin there about 6 times so i think its worth a shout if your not hooking up at over waters..im not going to thorpe leas now the plan is to go to wildmoor water
