Hi folks im from South Africa and starting out carp fishing.
I am geting some gear together before i start.I have bought already a fox horizon pod and Nash 42 landing net belzer unhooking mat/sling.I am in the process of buying some rods and have come up with two i like But cant decide which one is going to be the best.As there not much info available here in SA on these rods.I have to decide between Chub outkast and the Greys of alnwick prodigy SX rods.Any info and help would be appreciated.
welcome to the forum
well the rods you mentioned are both great quality for the prices respectively i myself use a set of greys rods and i cannot fault them at all, they are cracking bits of kit.
whichever you decide apon tho you can rest assured itll be money well spend. incidentally greys and chub are all part of the same company so youll get the same quality whichever you choose. keep the lifetime warranty tags safe tho thats for sure. happy carping chap
i use the outcasts matei think they are really good rods for the money powerfull when youneed it and yet with very good fish playing abilities hope it helps
